English. Fertigation offers several advantages both from the agronomic and environmental points of view. The limits for a widespread use of fertigation are connected with equipment, type of cultivation and qualitative characteristics of fertilizers. This report offers a picture of the situation of the fertilizers used for fertigation. The fundamental parameters for the fertilisers are: correspondence of the declared title in NPK; salinity: the final solution should have the concentration of 1-2 and to develop the maximum conductivity of 2 dS/m; pH: must be between 5,5 and 6,5; quality of fertilizers: they must be produced with components of technical grade, free from undesired elements (like sodium or chlorine) and completely soluble in water. Fertilizers for fertigation are of different types. Bearing in mind the problems connected with the preparation of the solutions, last but not least the calculation of the effective fertilizing units, it´s advisable to use complete NPK formulations, based on raw materials of technical grade, which are highly soluble and with low salinity. These products enormously facilitate the operations of management of the nourishing solutions in function of the requirements of the plants. To sum up, only manufacturers who invest in the research and are able to offer quality fertilizers complying with the legislative requirements will answer adequately to the needs of the horticulture sector, which is becoming more and more demanding and competent
Show more [+] Less [-]Italian. La fertirrigazione offre numerosi vantaggi di tipo agronomico e ambientale. I limiti per la diffusione massiccia della fertirrigazione sono legati all´impiantistica, alla tipologia di coltura e alle caratteristiche qualitative dei concimi. Il presente lavoro vuole offrire un quadro della situazione attuale dei fertirriganti. I parametri fondamentali per i fertilizzanti sono: corrispondenza del titolo dichiarato in NPK; salinità: la soluzione finale dovrebbe avere la concentrazione dell´1-2 e sviluppare la conducibilità massima di 2 dS/m; pH: deve essere fra 5,5 e 6,5; qualità dei fertilizzanti: devono essere prodotti con componenti di tipo tecnico, privi di elementi indesiderati (come sodio o cloro) e completamente solubili in acqua. I fertilizzanti per la fertirrigazione sono di tipo diverso. Tenendo in conto i problemi connessi con la preparazione delle soluzioni, non da ultimo il calcolo delle unità fertilizzanti effettive, è consigliabile utilizzare formulazioni NPK complete, basate su materie prime di tipo tecnico, che sono altamente solubili e a salinità bassa. Questi prodotti facilitano enormemente le operazioni di gestione delle soluzioni nutritive in funzione delle esigenze delle piante. In conclusione, solamente i concimi di qualità e in linea con le direttive legislative, prodotti da aziende che investono in ricerca, rispondono adeguatamente alle esigenze di un settore orticolo sempre più esigente e competente
