This note is about a research aimed at testing the best time of cutting propagation for two species of pittosporum: Pittosporum tenuifolium cv Abbotsbury Gold and Pittosporum heterophyllum cv Variegatum. Results have pointed out that June is the best time and that the hormone-treatment with NAA at 0.5% for 6 hours induces an increase in rooting. Sono riportati i risultati di una ricerca effettuata allo scopo di verificare l´epoca migliore di taleaggio per due specie di pittosporo: Pittosporum tenuifolium cv Abbotsbury Gold e Pittosporum heterophyllum cv Variegatum. I risultati hanno evidenziato che l´epoca migliore è il mese di giugno e che il trattamento ormonale con NAA allo 0,5% per 6 ore induce un incremento della radicazione. Le caratteristiche morfologiche, altezza della pianta, numero foglie/pianta e lunghezza degli internodi sono variate nelle due specie prese in esame
