English. The fragmentation of habitats is one of the most important causes of the biological diversity decline in Europe. This is particularly common in many of the highly developed regions, where the urban structures and the infrastructures enlarge into the agricultural land and where the elimination of the marginal areas changes the aspect of the agro-ecosystems. The implementation of ecological networks in the territory is one of the European strategies to contrast this trend and to preserve biodiversity. The networks can be studied at continental, national or local scale. At local scale, interactions between the elements of the network and the features of the agro-ecosystem have to be studied in detail, to individuate realization criteria and management strategies that allow to ameliorate the environmental quality without negative interferences with the agricultural activity

Questo è particolarmente frequente in molte delle regioni maggiormente sviluppate, dove le strutture urbane e le infrastrutture si inseriscono nelle zone agricole e dove l´eliminazione delle aree marginali cambia l´aspetto degli agro-ecosistemi. La realizzazione delle reti ecologiche sul territorio rientra fra le strategie europee per contrastare questa tendenza e tutelare la biodiversità. Le reti ecologiche possono essere studiate a scala continentale, nazionale e locale. Su scala locale, le interazioni fra gli elementi della rete e le caratteristiche dell´agro-ecosistema devono essere studiate in dettaglio, per individuare criteri di realizzazione e strategie di gestione che consentano di migliorare la qualità ambientale senza interferenze negative con l´attività agricola.]
