Study of cattle manure application in Miyako-Island [Japan] at present

The supply and demand balance of manure in village level, and the amount of emission and application of cattle manure of individual farmers were investigated in order to clarify cattle manure application in Miyako-Island at present. In village level analysis, all cattle manure exhausted at every village could be applied to own village. In the analysis on individual farmers, while some farmers applied the manure excessively, some farmers couldn't get enough organic matters such as manure. The proper distribution of the entire region based on the analysis on individual farmer was required. The biomass conversion facilities would be required because the amount of cattle bred by individual farmer were increasing. It is important to propose the biomass collecting system based on the operation sequence of farmers and to construct the effective distribution system.
