Our previous study suggested that a vibration, which was three times the driving frequency, occurred at the joint of the link arm end and the drive knife. In this paper, we constructed a dynamic model of the knife driving system. By considering the elastic deformation of the bearing, the dynamic interaction at the joint was given by the Voigt Model. This model simulated the horizontal inertia force by numerical calculations. The results revealed that the tendencies qualitatively corresponded well with the time series of the simulated inertia force and measured acceleration in the state without the balance weight. The model enabled the forecasting of vibration characteristics of the knife driving system.
