The present investigation deals with antimicrobial activity of ethanolic extractsof Cuscuta reflexa parasitizing on three different angiospermic hosts namely Populuseuro- Americana Ziziphus hysudrica and Clerodendrum inerme The extracts werereported to exhibit significant antimicrobial activity against bacteria likePseudomonas aeruginosa , Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis and Bacilluslicheniformis, and fungi namely Aspergillus niger and Trichoderma reesei. Theresults when compared with the inhibition caused by standard reference discs ofantibiotics for example Amikacine, Ciprofloxacin and Griseofulvin showed significantdifferences among three hosts with respect to antimicrobial activity.
