The study having three different levels of GA3 (80, 110, and 130 g ha-1)for hybrid rice seed production was conducted at the Philippine Rice ResearchInstitute (PhiRice), Central Experiment Station, Maligaya, Munoz, Nueva Ecija,Philippines during wet season 1999 and dry season 1999-2000. During wetseason, unfavourable weather conditions caused bacterial leaf blight and lowsynchronization of flowering between parental lines, which hindered the cross-pollination resulting in very low seed yield. During dry season on the otherhand 80 g ha-1 GA3 produced significantly higher seed yield (1919.83 kg ha-1)than rest of the treatments. Where as 110 and 130 g ha-1 GA3 produced 1669.79and 1684.33 kg ha-1 seed yield, respectively.
