Abundance of available phosphorus in peat-muck and gyttja-muck soils in the Masurian Lakeland (Poland)

The paper presents the results of studies on the concentration dynamics of phosphorus soluble in 0.5 M HCl in peat and gyttja soils, typical of north-eastern Poland. It was found that the phosphorus content of peat soils was widely differentiated, varying from very low to very high. Gyttja soils contained very small amounts of available phosphorus
