The impact of border in local development

The article shows the results of research executed on borderland. To classify studied communities the Taxonomic Development Models was used. The 56 communities which laid in two administrative districts near border was examined. The conducted audits revealed strong polarization of development, around two main growing centres of the region. Despite of border position and having border crossing the part of the communities has reached lower level of development than the other examined communities
