The aim of the article is to recognize development factors in 112 enterprises chosen from REGON system in Warmia and Mazury province (Poland). Moreover, current financial situation of firms and range of their activity have been presented. Means of promotion and advertisement have been analysed. The study also concerns chances and threats of economic activity. Finally, respondents' opinion about integration with UE and its meaning for their economic activity
