English. The paper deals with the activities of Ukraine's public organizations, which became active after the Chornobyl accident. The character of their interaction with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine (Minekolohiyi)was complicated by the absence of the permanent body which would provide the real collaboration. Establishing an Electronic Information System of the Minekolohiyi in order to disseminate information on activities thereof could became a new form of involving the community to the process of preparing decisions on problems of ecology and making them. Functioning of the system will allow Ukraine's citizens to freely obtain information, ask questions, make proposals as to her/his own activities

Йдеться про діяльність громадських організацій, яка активізувалася після Чорнобильської трагедії, характер їх взаємодії з мінекології, що усскладнювалася відсутністю постійного органау, який би забезпечував реальну співпрацю. Більшисть громадських рад було створено в 1996-1997 рр. Визначено завдання громадських рад. Новою формою залучення громадскості до процесу підготовки й прийняття рішень з проблем екології спільно з органами влади може стати створення Міністерством екології електронної інформаційної системи для ефективного розповсюдження інформації про свою діяльність. Функціонування в міністерстві електронної інформаційної системи дасть змогу громадянам безперешкодно отримувати інформацію, ставити запитання, подавати свої пропозиції щодо своєї діяльності особисто, а не тільки через громадські ради
