[Ecological education in Ukraine: achievements and prospects thereof]

According to the "The Concept of ecological education of Ukraine" (2001), considered are the up-to-date state and prospects of the development of the social knowledge, directed on rebuilding the content of education according to the requirements of the time,on forming the ecological culture as a constituent of the system of national and public education all the strata of the population. The environmental pollution in Ukraine causes the necessity of ecological education of all the population, preparation of ecologists for all the sectors of the economy, levels, regions, the state as a whole, forming the ecological culture of Ukraine's society. Considered are the system of ecological education in Ukraine, the State Programme "Education. Ukraine-XXIth century ", education policy, education training forms, development of ecological science, problems of ecological information and ecological safety, Ukraine's place in the worl ecological space просторі.

Відповідно до "Концепції екологічної освіти України" (2001 p.) розглядаються сучасний стан і перспективи розвитку суспільного знання, спрямованого на перебудову змісту освіти відповідно до вимог часу, на формування екологічної культури як складової системи національного і громадського виховання усіх верств населення. Забруднення навколишнього середовища в Україні зумовлює необхідність екологічної просвіти всього населення, підготовки фахівців-екологів для всіх народногосподарських галузей, рівнів, регіонів, держави загалом, формування екологічної культури суспільства. Розглядаються система екологічної освіти в Україні, державна програма "Освіта. Україна XXI ст.", освітня політика, форми екологічного навчання, розвиток екологічної науки, проблеми екологічної інформації та екологічної безпеки, місце України усвітовому екологічному просторі.
