Heritability h sup(2) for 4 growth traits, average daily gain (ADG), feed conversion ratio (FCR), backfat thickness (BF) and age at 90 kgs body weight (AGE 90 kg), were estimated from 412, 651 and 950 records Duroc, Large White and Landrace respectively. The data were collected from tested pigs in the Nakornratchasima Swine Research and Testing Institute, Tabkwang, Thapra, Chiangmai and Suratthani Livestock Research and Development Centres. Derivative Free Restricted Maximum Likelihood (DFREML) method used to analyse the genetic parameters of the growth traits. It was found that heritabilities for ADG, FCR, BF and AGE 90 KG of Duroc were 0.52, 0.63, 0.77 and 0.20, h sup(2) of Large White were 0.32, 0.47, 0.66 and 0.29, h sup(2) of Landrace were 0.62, 0.60, 0.63 and 0.39 in LR respectively. The estimated heritabilities were considered medium to high, therefore, the traits can still be improved by selection of replacements in the herds.
