Variation of important breeding traits in composite cross of two-row winter barley

The present study shows the variation in three populations of a composite cross of two-row winter barley, based on cms-restoring system. Morphological traits and yield components have been investigated. Coefficient of variation and correlation between traits were discussed. The results allow to make the conclusion that the composite cross method could be successfully introduced in barley breeding procedures for creation of width variation in the row material.
