[Content of biologically active substances in Colchicum L. genus representatives in the conditions of Belarus]

The seasonal dynamics of cochicine alkaloids (cochicine and colchamine), anthocyan compounds, catechins, tannins, flavones, phenolecarboxylic acids contents and polyphenoloxidase and peroxidase activities in the organs of Colchicum speciosum Stev. and Colchicum autumnale L. under introduction into conditions of Belarus were established. The largest amount of secondary compounds was accumulated in the aerial organs at the flowering and budding phases and in the bulbotubers at the beginning of sprouting. The similarity of basic tendencies in the seasonal dynamics of the secondary metabolites contents of Colchicum genus representatives was detected. The specific features of the secondary metabolism of the analyzed species were presented. The dependence of accumulation of different biologically active substances by organs of Colchicum speciosum Stev. and Colchicum autumnale L. on the weather conditions of vegetative season in Belarus was shown
