[Eрizootique situation on infectious diseases of horses in the countries of the world and in Belarus]

There were revealed 10 infectious diseases widespread to territories of Belarus for 1994-2005. In comparison with the middle of 90th in the last some years the steady tendency to decrease in a level of disease of horses by infections are noted. Diseases of horses by infectious diseases since 1999 in the territory of Belarus are basically local by character. According to veterinary and sanitary rules of import to Belarus of cargoes of animal origin and forages a number of requirements on epizootique prosperity is made. Requirements depend on a kind of imported horses and share on three categories: temporary import of horses to Belarus for participation in the international competitions; import of breeding, user and sports horses to Belarus; import of sperms of studhorses to Belarus. By these rules for temporary import of horses to Belarus for participation in the international competitions can be admitted healthy horses existent from farms and administrative territories which are free of infected animals. Such illnesses are listed. For import of breeding, user and sports horses to Belarus the rules are some more strict. To import to Belarus the young and adult horses born and grown up in the country-exporter or being their not less than 6 months occuring of facilities and administrative territories which are free of infected animals should be supposed only
