[Endoparasites of predators of the northern part of Belarus]

Research results helminthes and protozoa of domestic predators were presented. The following helminthes and protozoa parasitizing in predator mammals were found: Toxascaris leonina, Toxocara canis, Toxocara mystax, Trichinella spiralis, Thominx aerophilus, Isospora canis, Isospora ochioensis and Eimeria canis. Research results showed that eimeria invasion in most of the cases was stated in dogs of different breeds, ages and sex. General extensiveness of eimeria invasion of domestic dogs was 22,5%, stray dogs – 46,2%, gun dogs – 30,6%, watch dogs – 37,2%. Species composition of eimeria of domestic dogs was presented by Isospora ochioensis (54,5%), Isospora canis (36,4%) and Eimeria canis (9,1%); stray dogs - Isospora ochioensis (50%), Isospora canis (40%) and Eimeria canis (10%); gun dogs – Isospora ochioensis (61,5%), Isospora canis (38,5%); watch dogs – Isospora ochioensis (84,6%) and Isospora canis (15,4%). Research results of Nematoda helminthofauna of domestic animals showed that the following representatives of Nematoda were revealed: Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina, Thominx aerophilus, Capillaria plica, Trichinella spiralis. Extensiveness of Toxascaris leonina in cats was 14,13%, in domestic dogs – 6,17%. Extensiveness of Trichinella spiralis in cats was 13,07%, in domestic dogs – 3,7%.
