Research results of the development of the optimal ventilation system in the redeveloped farrowing and piglets rearing houses providing the resource-saving and comfortable conditions of animal housing were presented. Research results showed that the provision of the optimal microclimate in piglets rearing houses should be accompanied by the increasing of heat engineering properties of frame fillings with the maximum application of the natural ventilation. Increasing of the coefficient of the temperature lag of building structures from 0,97 up to 2,5 square m deg C/Wt made it possible to abate energy consumption, form the optimal climate inside the pig houses without any negative influence on piglets productivity. In winter and off-season periods the optimal microclimate and air exchange was achieved with the help of the natural ventilation. The maximum air convection in weaving piglets houses was achieved by means of the closure of houses and air intake from air lock, in farrow houses – by means of air intake from galleries. In summer period it was admitted to apply simultaneously the natural air supply and the coercive air moving off through the air trunks. Bacterial contamination of farrow houses and piglets rearing houses in winter and off-season periods in the conditions of natural ventilation lowered in 1,4-3,6 times. Increasing of heat engineering properties of building structures made it possible to lower the heat consumption for pig houses heating of 54 thousand heads per year on 60 thousand Gcal
