Enrichment of fodder diets by vitamin forages or vitamin concentrates provides resistency of young growth, considerably increases forages assimilation and reduces their expenses for a unit of production, allows to replace expensive forages of animal origin by cheaper vegetative forages. Last years research on studying new vitamins used in feeding of agricultural animals are conducted. One of them is vitamin Вt betaine. It is methylated derivation of A-amino-y-oxi-oil acid, or carnitine. At first vitamin Вt was known as growth-stimulative means for laboratory animals. Later its role in protein, fats and carbohydrates exchange was found out. It is established, that inclusion in a diet with increased contents of fat for young pigs 2-4 months of age in structure of premix vitamin carnitine in a doze 50g on 1t mixed fodders rendered positive influence on growth and development of pigs, biochemical parameters of blood. The highest daily average gain for the period of experience appeared in II experimental group and made 713g, that on 2-3,2% above in comparison with other groups
