The strength of the growth and its dependence on the increase of cross section, type of root and yields are analyzed. On the basis of obtained results it was established that the growth of trees and their productivity depends on the roots, varieties of tree and cultivation conditions. The most intensive growth was obtained in the following varieties: Gloster on root M-26, Chempion on MM-106 and Gloster on Antonovka with trunk graft B-9. The slowest growth was observed at variety Chempion trees on roots M-26 and MM-106 during the last two years of the experiment. The low yield of variety Gloster in the conducted research has been engendered mainly by periodicity of fruiting, which is characterized for the present variety and is the result of yield decrease. Among 20 cultivated apple trees varieties planted on root M-26 including Chempion and Gloster it was revealed that variety Chempion has been the most productive during 5 years after planting. On the results of final measures the productivity of fruit trees with use of index efficiency was calculated. Conducted results were statistically analyzed and mathematically processed. Differences between variants were defined with the help of Turkey test
