Nowadays the requirements for foodstuff safety are intensified worldwide. First of all, it concerns their biological safety. Definite actions are carried out in this direction in Belarus, too. The article analyses the state of animal husbandry products safety and studies problems concerning this issue in republic. It also states the priority directions of how to improve the mechanism of foodstuff safety maintenance with a view to make it satisfy to the international requirements
