Spanish; Castilian. Se estudió la capacidad depredadora da Chrysopa exterior sobre Aphis craccivora Koch a 25 °C y 87% de humedad relativa. De la cría de laboratorio se tomó una muestra de 100 huevos que se mantuvieron individualmente en frascos de vidrio. Cuando eclosionaron se les suministró cantidades crecientes de áfidos. La media de áfidos depredados por el primer instar fue de 85, para el segundo 84 y para el tercero 237, y consumieron 406 durante el estado larval.

One hundred eggs were taken from laboratory culture and kept in individual glass vials. After hatching, they were fed and increasing number of aphids. Tbe means of depredated aphids were: 85 for tbe first instar, 84 for the second, and 237 for tbe third one. The total consumption for the whole larval stage was 406.
