Spanish; Castilian. Orobanche ramosa Lin., se informa mundialmente parasitando una extensa lista de especies vegetales. En Cuba, el cultivo del tabaco Nicotiana tabacum L., constituye un ejemplo elocuente de los posibles daños y el peligro potencial que representa esta fanerógama parásita, a medida que se incrementa su incidencia y distribución, tanto en ésta, como en otras plantas hospederas. El presente trabajo informa a Hydrocotyle umbellata L. como nuevo hospedero de Orobanche ramosa Lin. en Cuba.
Show more [+] Less [-]English. Orobanche ramosa Lin. is reported in the whole world as paratizing a long list of plant species. In Cuba, the tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum L.) crop is a good exanple of the possible damages and the potential danger this phanerogamic parasite represents as it increases its incidence and distribution both on this and other plant hosts. The present paper is a report of Hydrocotyle umbellata L. as a new host for Orobanche ramosa L. in Cuba.
