Gnorimoschema lycopersicella (Busck) es un insecto de reciente incorporación a la agroentomofauna tunera que presenta rasgos de comportamiento e intensidad de ataques, los cuales motivaron la realización de este trabajo donde se determinó el ciclo biológico bajo las condiciones climáticas del territorio. Además, quedó establecido el tiempo de aparición y desarrollo de la plaga (febrero-agosto), así como algunas notas etológicas y biométricas.

Gnorimoschema lycopersicella (Busck) is an insect recently incorporated to the agricultural fauna of Las Tunas, which presents behaviour patterns and an intensivity of attack that motivated the insect life cycle under the local climatic conditions was determined. Furthermore, the time of appearance and development of the pest (February-August) as well as some ethological and biometrical notations were established.
