Bioecología in vitro de Sphaeropsis tumephaciens Hedges. Efecto de la temperatura, el régimen de luz y la humedad relativa.

Se estudió el comportamiento de Sphaeropsis tumefaciens agente causal de las nudosidades de los cítricos a través del crecimiento micelial y la esporulación, a temperaturas entre 4 y 42°C, humedad relativa desde valores cercanos a cero hasta 100 % y regímenes de luz de 0, 8, 12 y 24 horas luz. Los resultados indican la temperatura de 30°C, el régimen de 8 horas luz y la humedad relativa por encima de 50 %, como las condiciones bioecológicas más favorables para el crecimiento micelial y la esporulación del hongo.

The behaviour of Sphaeropsis tumefaciens, causal agent of citrus knots, was studied through the micelial growth and sporulation at temperatures from 4 to 42°C, relative humidity from near nule up to 100% and light regimes of 0, 8, 12 and 24 hours-light. Results indicate the temperature of 30°C, eight hours-light and relative humidity aboye 50% as the most favourable bioecological conditions for the miceliat growth and sporulation of this fungi in vitro.
