Se obtuvieron extractos proteicos de hojas de tomate (Lycopersicon esculentum, Mill) a los 1, 2, 3 y 7 días posteriores al tratamiento con una solución de fosfato diácido de sodio (NaH2PO4) (50mM, pH 7.4), con el objetivo de comprobar, mediante la técnica inmunoquímica Western Blott, si existía relación antigénica entre las proteínas inducidas por este tratamiento y las proteínas relacionadas con la patogénesis (PRs), provenientes de maíz y cebada con actividad quitinasa y ß-1,3 glucanasa, respectivamente.

Protein extracts from tomato leaves (Lycopersicon esculentum, Mill) were obtained at 1, 2, 3 and 7 days after treatment with NaH2PO4 solution (50mM, pH 7.4), with the objective of verifying if there was any antigenic relation between the proteins induced in tomato by this treatment and the PRs from corn and barley with chitinase and ß-1,3 glucanase activity, respectively.
