Spanish; Castilian. Se describe un procedimiento analítico para el estudio de dos aminoácidos de Puccinia melanocephala H. & P. Sydow. La hidrólisis se realizó a 100°C durante 7 horas y se utilizó HCl 6N. Los aminoácidos fueron evaluados por cromatografía en papel, se reveló la existencia de Cis, Orn, Lys, His, Gly, Ser, Pro-OH, Glu, Pro, Tyr, Trp e Ile. No se obtuvieron grandes diferencias cualitativas, sin embargo, fue posible determinar 8, 12 y 9 aminoácidos en la pared celular de las uredosporas obtenidas de las variedades B 4362, Ja 60-5 y C 323-68, esto constituye el primer informe sobre la composición aminoacídica de este fitopatógeno.

Is described as also the amino acidic composition of P. melanocephala uredospores. The hydrolysis is carried out at 100°C for 7 hours with 6N HCL. The amino acids were evaluated through paper chromatography. It was founded the presence of Cis, Orn, Lys, His, Gly, Ser, Por-OH, Glu, Pro, Tyr, Trp and Ile. Althougth, great cualitativas difference couldn't be observed, it was possible to determinate 8, 12 and 9 amino acids in the cell walls of uredospores collected from B 4362, Ja 60-5 and C 323-68 varieties; this is the first report about the amino acids composition of this phytopathogen.
