Selección y caracterización de aislamientos de Alternaria solani Sor. de tomate.

Spanish; Castilian. Se obtuvieron 40 aislamientos monospóricos de Alternaria solani y se seleccionaron cuatro por su virulencia en hojas de tomate para futuros trabajos de selección. Estos se caracterizaron cultural y morfométricamente en diferentes medios de cultivo sólidos, para la morfometría sólo se tomaron las esporas. Los aislamientos escogidos difirieron en su virulencia y en los caracteres cualitativos (textura, color del micelio, pigmentación del medio). Se observó la presencia de biotipos culturales. Las esporas difirieron significativamente en cuanto a la longitud total, de las células apicales y el ancho, no ocurrió así con la longitud del cuerpo y el número de septos transversales.
Show more [+] Less [-]English. Forty single spore of Alternaria solani were obtained and four of them selected by their virulent performance on tomato leaf lets for screening desirable hosts. The chosen isolates were characterized according to growth, appearance on media and conidia size. The parameters taken into account (texture, colour, colonies diameter and pigmentation of the sustratum) differed among strains. Concerning conidia's size: beak, broadest part and full length there were differences among isolates while not with conidia's body length (total less beak) and number transverse septas. It has been evidenced the existence of cultural biotipes.
