English. The aim of this paper was to analyze the nucleotide sequence of a clone from the subtractive cDNA library of sugarcane inoculated with Puccinia melanocephala H. and P.Sydow, which hybridized in a high magnitude with 1-3 ß glucanase probe from barley during the library screening. The nucleotide sequence of this cDNA was determined in both strands, its length is 510 pb. Using the Fasta program and phylogenetic analysis, we found that the nucleotide sequence of this cDNA has a higher identity to sequences of the 1-3 ß glucanase from other Poaceae.

El objetivo de este trabajo fue analizar la secuencia nucleotídica de un clon de la biblioteca ADNc sustractiva de caña de azúcar inoculada con Puccinia melanocephala, el cual hibridizó en gran magnitud con la sonda ß 1-3 glucanasa de cebada durante el pesquisaje de la biblioteca. La secuencia nucleotídica de ADNc fue determinada en ambas cadenas, su longitud es de 510 pb. Se utilizó el programa Fasta y el análisis filogenético, en el cual se detectó que la secuencia nucleotídica de este ADNc presenta mayor identidad con ß 1-3 glucanasa de otras Poaceae.
