Epidemiología del mildiú de las cucurbitáceas (Pseudeperonospora cubensis Berk y Curt) en materiales de melón (Cucumis melo L.).

Para estimar la intensidad de enfermedad en el patosistema Pseudoperonospora cubensis-Cucumis melo en materiales de melón Archer, Top Mark, Camino, Hy Mark (testigo regional), 0585, Calmark y Ovation, se elaboró una escala logarítmica diagramática de siete clases (0-6). Su validación con diez evaluadores generaron valores de precisión (r2) de rango 0,78-0,92 y exactitud (b1) de 0,84-1,07, lo que indicó reproducibilidad de la escala. Las curvas del progreso e intensidad de enfermedad se ajustaron al modelo de descripción de Weibull mediante su parámetro inverso de b1. Se determinó que los materiales Archer, Top Mark y Hy Mark presentaron las menores tasas de infección aparente con 0,012300; 0,012950 y 0,012250 unidad/ día, respectivamente, y las menores de área bajo la curva del progreso de la enfermedad con 251,90; 162,37 y 234,19%/día, respectivamente. Estos materiales obtuvieron el mayor número de fruto por planta y mayor peso de fruto.

A seven classes (0-6) logarithmical diagram scale was done in order to estimate disease strength of pathosystem Pesudoperonospora cubensis-Cucumis melo in melon materials Archer, Top Marker, Camino, Hy Mark, 0585, Calmark and Ovation; its validation with ten tester produce precision values (r2) of 0.78-0.92 rank and exactitude (b1) of 0.84-1.07, which indicate a reproducible scale. Progress and disease strength curves fitted to Weibull model description through his inverse parameter of b-1, it was determined that Archer, Top Marker and Hy Mark materials showed the lowest infection rates with 0.01230, 0.01295 and 0.01225 unit/day respectively, and the lowest area under the progress curve of disease with 251.9, 162.37 and 234.19%/day, respectively. These materials obtained the highest amount of fruit per plant and the highest weight per fruit.
