Though under strict regulations, the cultivation of genetically altered plants has been spreading in the EU countries also. We must face the fact that during the course of the invaluable pollinating activity of the honeybees, they will get into contact with GM matter inevitably. Such GM matter will most likely be carried into the hive, and get into the honey.
