Tomato is a nutritionally valuable fruit. The different compounds and minerals in berries have excellent diatetic effects. Tomato fruits are rich in antioxidant components, which may reduce the risk of some cancer types and also cardiovascular diseases. In our trial we analysed the effects of the varieties and the harvesting dates on the presence of antioxidants.
