The aim of this study was to determine some important growing characteristics of 5 resistant apple and 7 apricot cultivars in two fruit growing regions in Romania from 2000 to 2003. Height of the apple trees ranged between 1.96 m and 2.39 m. Diameter of the crown ranged from 0.96 m and 1.12 cm.
