The Hungarian Scientific Society for Food Industry (MÉTE) considers to be one of the principal mission to provide scientific background for the operation of the food market and to investigate the main factors of competitiveness. As a civil organization it has the task of public utility to ensure that the commercialized foodstuffs be manufactured of the agricultural raw materials as safety as possible. Manufacturing at a level of the lowest possible risk safeguards the health and working capacity of those working in this sector while producing excellent goods for the consumers.
