The article deals with questions of application of different food supplements in Hungary, based on the evaluation of a questionnaire. The measurement was carried out in 2005, the 100 participants were young adult people, mainly physically active students. Data were collected about the application-rate of the following groups of food supplements: vitamins, minerals, protein concentrates, amino acids, carbohydrate-rich supplements, energy- and sport-drinks, special products and complex supplements. 21% of the participants do not use supplements, 54% not more than 2 different ones, and 25% as a minimum 3 types of supplements. Energy and sport drinks, isotonic drinks are also widely used.
