STUDY OF INCREASING WHEAT GRAIN PROTEIN THROUGH FOLIAR APPLICATION OF NITROGEN AFTER ANTHESIS
2004
Silspour, Mohsen | Malakoti, Mohammad Jafar
An experiment was conducted to study of increasing the wheat grain protein through foliar application of Nitrogen after flowering. The experiment design was RCBD with three replication and four N-treatments as (N0=0,N1=4Kg/Ha Urea, N2=8Kg/Ha Urea, N3=4Kg/Ha Ammonium Sulfate). Dusting was done by airoplane. The different treatments were dissolved in a mixture of 25 liters of water and one liter of insecticide and sprayed in one hectar. Data showed that there was a significant difference among treatments in protein content. Base on the results, use of 8 Kg/Ha Urea was the best treatment for grain protein increasing.
