English. Quizalofop-P-tefuryl is a new APP post-emergence herbicide used for the control of the grass weeds in industrial and horticultural crops. The 40 g/l EC formulation shows a favourable toxicological and environmental profile. The active ingredient shows a very good systemic activity; it is rapidly adsorbed by the leaves of grass weeds, producing their yellowishing and consequent death. It is used at 40-80 g/ha of active ingredient. At these dosages shows a very good herbicide activity against many annual and perennial grass weeds

Quizalofop-P-tefuryl è un graminicida di post-emergenza appartenente alla famiglia chimica degli arilossifenossipropionati (APP), utilizzato per il contenimento di infestanti graminacee in colture industriali ed ortive. Il formulato a 40 g/l concentrato emulsionabile si caratterizza per un favorevole profilo tossicologico e ambientale. La molecola, che è dotata di elevata attività sistemica, viene rapidamente assorbita dalle foglie delle infestanti graminacee, provocandone prima l'ingiallimento e la conseguente totale devitalizzazione. Utilizzato a una dose compresa tra 40 e 80 g/ha di principio attivo, dimostra di possedere un'elevata attività erbicida nei confronti delle principali specie di infestanti graminacee annuali e perenni
