Lodging is a complex character whose expression is highly influenced by other traits and their interactions under different environmental conditions. In this study, a population derived from a cross of 'Keunolkong' and 'Iksan10' was evaluated with simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers to identify quantitative trait loci (QTL) related to main stem length, number of nodes, branches on the main stem, in relation to lodging. Lodging score was significantly correlated with stem length, but not with the number of nodes and branches.
