In the investigation three different barley sowing rates (250, 400 and 550 germinating grains on the square meter), seed treatment with humin substances, use of coarse fractions of seed (above 3 mm of riddle) and impact of seed treatment with warm and hot water on significant data of the barley varieties 'Idumeja', 'Ruja' and line PR-2797 in organic agriculture seed production were tested.
