The aim of the research was to assess the enzymatic activity of soils during forest regeneration cultivation in respect of long-term nitric emission. The research was conducted on an experimental plantation of Scots pine, oak and birch. This area was located on a post-forest surface on the border of the polluted air migration, covered with podzolic and iron-rich soils. The results have shown that applied compensatory fertilization had a favourable effect on the enzymatic activity under conditions of considerably reducted but still present emissions from Nitrogen Plant Pulawy (Poland)
