In field experiments the effect of different doses of nitrogen fertilization (100, 150, 200 kg N/ha) on phosphorus, potassium, and calcium content in the crop of New Zealand spinach, harvested in three terms was studied. The ratio of K:Ca and Ca:P was also analysed. It was found that the content of macroelements in the plants mostly depended on the time of harvest and part of the plant (leaves and stalk). A proper ratio of K:Ca in leaves, and stalk of spinach was found only at the third term of harvest, and Ca:P ratio only in leaves collected at the second term of harvest
