Within the area of Gilow dumping site of sediments after ore flotation the 280 phytosociological records were done. The association Calamagrostietum epigeji was elaborated basing on 39 plants records Within this association three variants were distinguished: typical, with Festuca rubra and with Bryohyta. The Calamagrostietum epigeji community is common within the area of dumping site and characterized by domination of taxon Calamagrostis epigejo in all three variants of this association. Phytocenosis with Festuca rubra are characterized by very high stability and very high cover index of species typical for this variant. They settled mainly the sandy sediments located in distance from depressions filled with water. Phytocenosis with Bryophytes occurred in vicinity of depressions filled with water and characterized by substantial participation of Bryophytes: Bryum caespiticium and Funaria higrometrica. More numerous than in the other variants is also presence of Tussilago farfara and Centaurium erythraea. Within the area of Gilow dumping site of sediments after ore flotation the one species (Centuria erythraea) strictly protected and two taxons (Helichrysum arenarium i Frangula alnus) partly protected were recorded
