In the paper the authors present the study results concerning the quality of water that supplies the small retention reservoir Msciwojow. Research was carried out during the hydrological year of 2000/2001. The results have proved that Wierzbiak and Zimnik - the rivers supplying the small retention reservoir Msciwojow have water of bad quality. This is the reason why the method of waste-water managemnt in these river catchments should be changed
