Epidemiological significance of precolostral IgG in determination of frequency of intrauterine infections of pigs

Applying the method of radial immunodifusion it was discovered that over 70% of newborn piglets have in blood sera some concentration of IgG which, taking into the account nature of epiteliochorial placenta of pigs, possibly occurred as a consequence of intrauterine infections.
