Production of apple stocks with lateral branches by whip-grafting

One of the ways of producing apple stocks with lateral branches (whip-grafting) is indicated in this work. All grafted cultivars had in average 12 mm trunk diameter on 10 cm above junction, more than 3 lateral branches on 45-70 cm height and tree height more than 130 cm. Those are, by top fruitgrowing countries criteria, height quality srocks of extra and the first calss.
