The possibility of using upgraded sunflower admixtures in feed for growing lambs

At technological process of refinement of sunflower seed, admixtures have been isolated. They contain respectable amount of nutritive components, in the first places crude protein, oil and fiber. Shvechhikova (1978) retified that pellets of sunflower admixtures contain 0.99-1.02 oat feed-unit, and they can replaces concentrate components in ruminant nutrition. Reported results of trial, in which 10% corn has been replaced with upgraded sunflower admixtures, showed that this feedstuffs can be successfully used in feeding of growing lambs.
