Analyse of performance test results for the gilts of different genotypes

Fattening and slaughter characteristics are parameters of high economic value for the swine production. Construction of new decisions for performans test is made by analyzing current results of performed testing gilts on our farms. We use those results for the evaluation of breeding value. Also, our results, takes to increase producing efficacy and it is economical justification. Data were collected from 13529 gilts from seven farms in a region of Vojvodina (Serbia). They belong to seven pure breeds and a cross breed so called F1. We established a trend of decreasing backfat thickness and a high increasing of life daily gain. There is a high significant difference between genotypes and farms for all measurements of fat, depth of loin and a mass at the end of the test.
