It was investigated the influence of catheter types (Supertip(R), Spirette(R) and Foamtip(R) - Minitueb), and timing of postinsemination cervix stimulation, on the sows fertility (farrowing rate and litter size), after insemination in the first postlactational estrus. The greates farrowing rate and litter size were obtained after insemination with Foamtip catheter in combination with 10 min. postinsemination cervix stimulation.
