Parameters of the quality of new fodder [crop] cultivars for forage foods

New cultivars of red clover K-38 and K-39, cocksfoot K-40 and Timothy grass K-41, created in process of selection in the Center for Forage Crops, Krusevac, Serbia, ackowledged in 2001 and 2002 are characterized by increased production of dry matter and increased content of crude protein by 2%. These cultivars are recommended for general practice and we hope that they will also be used in nutrition of ruminants.
