In last decades many scientists took part in exploring factors that cause cardiovascular disease, one of most important causes of death in human population. Feeding is important factor of health, and atherogenic potential of food can show us risk related to cardiovascular diseases. Main goal of this research is to show exact mathematical model of atherogenic index. It shows all key elements of atherogenic potential (fat intake, cholesterol, and atherogenic fatty acids). Some examples of plant and animal products atherogenic index are also shown.
